Columbia Summer Food Service Program (SFSP)

This ministry was started in 2012 with three feeding sites that provided 2,262 meals. And each succeeding year it has grown.  Each weekday during the summer school recess, the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) provides a healthy meal to any child 18 and under in both Columbia and Wrightsville, a large majority of whom live below the poverty line.  All meals are prepared in our small kitchen in the basement of Columbia Presbyterian Church by our professionally trained chef.

Last year SFSP served nearly 7,500 meals.  This year we will serve even more with new distribution sites planned
